Local Rules:

1.  Out of bounds-Tarred roads, Clubhouse, garages, paved pathways, car park and areas around the clubhouse, the practice putting green and where demarcated by white stakes.

2.  A ball laying on any track, pathway or roadway within the course (except bridges over lateral hazards) may be lifted and dropped not nearer to the hole without penalty.

3.  All PLANTED trees under two club lengths in height are considered staked trees.  A ball lying in such a position that a staked tree interferes with one's stance or swing, may be lifted and dropped within two club lengths not nearer the hole without a penalty.

4.  The small drainage ditches on the right of 7th/16th fairway and left of 8th/17th fairway are not hazards.  A ball may be lifted and dropped not nearer the hole if the ball lies in the ditch or the ditch interferes with one's stance of swing.

5.  Ground Under Repair on the course is clearly demarcated and has a GUR notice inside the area.  All flower beds are to be treated a GUR.

6.  All water hazards are lateral water hazards and defined by red stakes.

7.  Male players younger than 13 or over 65 with a handicap of 24 or higher may tee off the blue markers on holes 4/10 and13.

8.  Traffic control poles and nets on the course are be treated as fixed obstructions.

9.  Please refer to green keepers notice board for any other local rules.

10.  Motor powered vehicles to keep to the paths where provided and not nearer than 10 meters form all greens.

11.  A ball striking the overhead power lines must be replayed and without a penalty shot.

Dress Code for Men:

a.  On the course:

  • Slacks or proper shorts - no rugby or beach shorts and no track suits.
  • Golf or ordinary shirts - no T-shirts and shirts not to hang loose over trousers.
  • Long or short socks - socks must be the tennis type and long enough to cover the ankles reaching for the calf.

b.  The bar:

This facility is for members and guests who have signed the visitor's book or have paid green fees for the day.  This is a place where we gather socially and in good taste, also in regard to our behaviour and language.  This must be a guide to how we dress.  Suggest - elegantly casual.  No bare feet, vests, T-shirts or beach clothing.  Patrons who are not properly attired will be requested to leave the premises.

Dress Code for Ladies:

  • Tops should be recognised golfing shirts - with collars or high round necklines.
  • Shorts should not by shorter than 10cm above the knee when kneeling.
  • No sun tops, plunging necklines, tops with slogans or long, loose hanging tops.
  • No jogging shorts, cycling pants or leggings.
  • No blue denim jeans or other tight pants.

These points should be adhered to at all clubs by lady members, visitors and companions on the course.
